Red-bellied Woodpecker in Koochiching County

Occasional in Koochiching County in the Fall season

I was astounded to see this female red-bellied woodpecker land on an oak outside our window while having lunch today. It drove away a hairy woodpecker that was at the suet feeder in the same tree, but did not partake of the suet. My camera was handy, but I was forced to shoot through a fortunately clean window.
