'Rare Regular' in Minnesota

This adult breeding White-faced Ibis was observed from the Old Cedar Ave bridge observation platform standing on a small mud island preening this morning. Good lighting and a close proximity allowed clear views of the red facial skin and red eyes with a feathered white border that extended completely around the eye and under the chin. Initially found and reported by Bruce & Susan Fall.
