Black-necked Stilt in Brown County

'Casual' in Minnesota - Five or fewer records in Brown County for the Spring season

I.D. photo. This Stilt was found by Brian Smith and myself at the Sleepy Eye Waste Treatment Ponds Saturday morning around 9:30. This is truly an unmistakeable bird. I had forgotten how large this bird actually is, dwarfing the Pectoral Sandpipers that were foraging near it.
