Spotted Towhee in Clay County

'Rare Regular' in Minnesota - Five or fewer records in Clay County for the Summer season

Adult male calling in Buffalo River State Park on the eastern branch of the Prairie View Trail. Cross the bridge over the buffalo river, go east and was found on the border of the oak woods and prairie. Sorry for the quality of the photo, was high in the tree, but got a good look at the spots and the call was distinctly one of a Spotted Towhee.
