'Rare Regular' in Minnesota - Five or fewer records in Hennepin County for the Winter season

The Great Black-backed Gull that I reported on Lake Harriet in Minneapolis yesterday was still present this morning standing on the ice preening at 9am. It's enormous size and full bodied bulk is emphasized in this photo while it was standing amongst the other Gulls present. It was a spectacular sight to behold and I enjoyed it for 40 minutes before it stretched, then flew off the lake heading south.
