Eurasian Wigeon in Dakota County

'Casual' in Minnesota - Five or fewer records in Dakota County for the Spring season

This bird was seen late Saturday afternoon on Lake Byllesby along with numerous American Wigeons, Canvasbacks, and other waterfowl. It was first spotted by Ben Douglas. The photo was taken from the boat ramp on the south shore (Goodhue) but the bird was far out, nearer the Dakota Co. side at the time.
