Red Phalarope in Mower County

'Casual' in Minnesota - Five or fewer records in Mower County for the Fall season

Seen Tuesday in the Brownsdale WTP and reported on MOU-NET yesterday. I believe this is the first recorded sighting of the species for Mower County. The bird was swimming alone along the south side of the middle pond. No other shorebirds were present.
