Mountain Bluebird in Crow Wing County

'Casual' in Minnesota - Five or fewer records in Crow Wing County for the Spring season

John Hokema initially noticed an odd looking bluebird alone a fence line with 2 Eastern Bluebirds. We turned around and John, Ben Fritchman and myself were able to get good looks at the bird for 10-15 mins. Location 1/2 mile west of Co Rd 21 on Sleepy Hollow Road. The bird was not refund later that day. Note lack of any red/orange coloration ruling out Eastern or Western Bluebird.
