California Gull in St. Louis County

'Casual' in Minnesota

First-cycle California Gull flying at eye-level across the Superior Entry, Duluth into Minnesota waters. Although at least one first-cycle California Gull has been seen at Wisconsin Point since September 16th, this is the first time it has been seen in Minnesota. Also seen at the Entry today were a third-cycle Parasitic Jaeger and a first-cycle Thayer's Gull.
