Swainson's Thrush in Cook County
2016-09-15

Common in Cook County in the Fall season

Many Broad-winged and Sharp-shinned Hawks flying over our ridge, along with flocks of Blue-jays, few warblers, many White-throated Sparrows and young American Goldfinches. The most regular of the migratory birds each day are the Swainson's Thrushes who are eating the mountain ash berries. Our property, Lutsen.
