'Accidental' in Minnesota - Five or fewer records in Grant County for the Summer season

King Rail at the North Ottawa Impoundment this morning! Originally found by Wayne Perala. After several hours of standing still and patiently listening, and just before several others were getting back in their cars to leave - the King Rail finally appeared!! Somehow I happened to be looking the right way at the right time, and I caught sight of the goofy bird dash across the road as I gasped "THERE HE IS!!" The search resumed immediately and we all were rewarded with great looks of the bird happy and preening.
