American Golden-Plover in Hubbard County

Occasional in Hubbard County in the Fall season

Same bird that Alex Burchard and I found here yesterday. Spotted this plover much further out in the grassy field today and decided to spend some extra time photographing this beautiful plover and scanning the grassy fields in the surrounding area. Much to our surprise - three Buff-breasted Sandpipers appeared from out of the tall grass! Lifer birds for both of us, and so exciting to find them in our local cow pasture just down the road from home!
