'Casual' in Minnesota
Female Mountain Bluebird (Sialia currucoides) found by Mike Hendrickson and myself at 2nd Ave and 2nd St in Two Harbors, Lake County, Minnesota, 04 November 2017. This may be same individual discovered by Jim Lind at 1st Ave and 2nd St on 28 October, the same day that two Mountain Bluebirds were seen west of the Castle Danger Brewery in Two Harbors (the two locations are 1 km apart). On the 4th, it associated with four Eastern Bluebirds as they foraged for insects and berries in residential areas between 1st Ave and 2nd Ave, and in Lakeview Park north of 2nd Ave, where this image was taken.
