'Rare Regular' in Minnesota
Male Varied Thrush visiting the yard of Paul Gunderson as reported on the MOU-net. Pictures were taken in the Spruce and Swamp White Oak in his yard where the bird likely roosts. His neighbors have a couple of fruiting crabapple trees that the bird also frequents. Paul has seen the bird visiting the cracked corn he throws out for the pheasants, which is the first instance I've ever heard of Varied Thrush eating corn.
