'Rare Regular' in Minnesota

First-cycle Iceland Gull observed on both sides of the Minnesota-Wisconsin state line at the Superior Entry, 10 January 2010. A different first-cycle bird was at Canal Park, Duluth the same day. The Superior Entry can be reached by taking US 2 to the SE edge of Superior, Wisconsin, and turning NE onto Moccasin Mike Road. Great Black-backed, Thayer's, Glaucous, and several hundred Herring Gulls were also seen.
