Red Knot in St. Louis County

'Rare Regular' in Minnesota

One of two Red Knots first reported by Josh Watson this morning on the beach at Park Point Recreation Area in Duluth. These knots were with several dozen Sanderlings, plus a few Ruddy Turnstones, Dunlins, and Semipalmated Sandpipers. ("Digibin" image with 10x32 Leica Ultravid binoculars).
