In spite of the fact that gas rationing was in effect during almost all o1 the 1945, nesting season, more than 2,000 nesting records of 107 species were reported by 25 observers. Interesting notes accompanied the records, but due to lack of space it was impossible to include them. The reports were well written, in good order, and contained all of the necessary information.
