1930SummerThree different observers saw nests of this species, · all on May 18th, the earliest date. A nest was found by Alden Risser and Gustav Swanson on this date, holding five eggs. The latest was seen by Leander Fischer on July 31st near Shakopee.
1931SummerOne egg on May 23rd (Risser); a. nest with 4 eggs Jtuy 4th (s. Stein); and several nests with eggs between those dates.
1932SummerSixteen Gray Catbird nests were found, the earliest with 3 eegs on May 18th (S. Stein). The latest was seen August 6th, when it housed 3 young (Morse).
1933Summer Fottyaeeven investigated nests reported. Swedenborg found the first, located at Ex:celsior, where it contained 2 eggs on May 21st. HieL1cnz reports the last. It was found ncar st. Cloud on July 11,th and held 3 oggs.
1934Summer The first nest of this joyous singer was found at Frontenac on May 19th by Mahle, Risser, DuToit and Upson., Two eggs comprised its contents. Hiemenz wound up the season for this species by finding 3 nests on July 13th at St8 Cloud. One of these held 2 eggs, while the other t·uo each had four small young. Incidentally, Hicm.enz ~d his friend Hanson accumulated data on 53 Catbi.rd nests this. season.
1935Summer Prosser noted a pair of Gray Catbirds which arrived at the bridle path around Lake Harriet and began building in a low bush May 11th. This nest was never completed, however Bird Club rae••nbors who wont to Frontenac May 25;th saw a number of Gray Catbird nests, most of which contained 4 or 5 eggs. The last nest, found July 19th (this date not certain as my original copy is blurred -Strnad) at Linwood ~~e by Breckenridge and Prosser, held 3 eggs.
1936Summer Risser, Don and Mrs. Mahle, El;-ickson and Rysgaard located a sum of' twenty nests of this dull-cclored mimic at Frontenac on May~ 24th, Twelve nests held four eggs each, five contained three eggs each, two nests had five eggs apiece, and two eggs were found in the twentieth nest. Paul Highby found a nest with one egg at Aurora on July 29th.
1937SummerOn May 23 Rysgaard and John Wilson found two eggs in a nest near Frontenac. Mrs. C. E. Peterson found three eggs in a nest near Ortonville, on July I8.
1938SummerOn May 20, at Frontenac, Kenneth Carlander found a nest of one egg. On May 28 E.-D. Swedenborg found a completed empty nest; on May 30 he found a nest of one egg. Both found at Minneapolis. In Beltrami Coun­ty, on June r6, 0. Owre and Upson found a nest that held 2 eggs. D r. Mahle found a nest of one egg at Warren on June 25. On July 17. Dr. Mahle found a nest of 3 half-grown young near Plainview.
1940SummerAbout 30 nests with eggs and young were reported by numerous people. The T. S. Roberts Club reported the first nests for June 5, with eggs. The latest report came from R. Norman and C. Hero at Duluth, who saw a nest with one young on July 12. Most of the re­ports centered around June 15.

1961FallLast report was 24 Oct. near Lake Olson, Washington County, when a single bird was trapped by Jane Olyphant. M otacillidae: Both species were reported.
