This is the Minnesota Birding Report for Thursday, August 6th 2009.
In Carver County, a MUTE SWAN was on Rapids Lake on August 1st.
On August 2nd, a ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK was seen at mile marker 152 of I-35 near Harris in Chisago County.
Other migrants include a few BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPERS, RUDDY TURNSTONE, SANDERLING, plus OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER.
