This is the Minnesota Birding Report for Monday, May 28th 2007.
A BLACK-NECKED STILT was seen on the 26th by Kim Eckert at the Hills Sewage Lagoons in Rock County.
A second year CALIFORNIA GULL was on the Minnesota side of the Superior entry at Park Point in Duluth on the 27th. There was also a LITTLE GULL on the Point at the 12th Street access on the 27th.
And finally, a LAZULI BUNTING made a brief appearance at a bird bath in Monticello, Wright County, on the 25th, though the bird has not been seen since. If it does return, this report will be updated with additional information.
