[mou] Snowy Owl; Sax-Zim; Long-eared Request

Snowy Owl was still present 2/16 in Aitkin County, 370th Street, just east 
of 169.

Helped lead one of the Sax-Zim trips on 2/16, enjoyed Northern Hawk Owl, 
Black-backed Woodpecker, Boreal Chickadees (5) and Hoary Redpoll, among 
other winter specialties.  Impressed by the overall organization of this 
first time festival, as well as Sparky Stensaas' guiding abilities and 
knowledge of the bog.

Sherburne NWR/Ann Lake sweep this morning was very quiet (cold & windy).

If anyone has a lead on a Long-eared Owl within 90 miles or so of central MN 
(even closer better, with gas prices), would appreciate hearing about same.
