[mou] American Crow vocalizations

Yesterday, a large group (up to 50) of AMCR were hanging about in the 
trees on the bluff behind our house. They were quite vocal. One call 
stood out -- it was similar to the vocalization of a Pileated 
Woodpecker. Has anyone else heard this?
