[mou] Sax-Zim Bog

Spent a good share of today in the bog and found the following:  two Magpies flying on the south side of Sax Rd between Admiral and McDavitt.  3-toed and BB Woodpecker's seen on Blue Spruce Rd about .4 miles north of 133.  Many trees are being worked over in this area and both species were seen only a couple of trees apart.  Came back to this area in the afternoon and saw both species again, this time on the same tree.  3-Toed also seen .1 mile north of Zim Rd on Admiral.  Derek's feeder yielded a Boreal Chickadee on a suet feeder hanging on tree.  Hoary Redpoll, Pine Grosbeak and a couple of Gray Jays.  A N. Shrike was seen about 3.2 mi north of Sax Rd on McDavitt.  Finally Boreal Chickadee seen at deer carcass on McDavitt.
