Today's New York Times carries an article in which a national AAA  
spokesman predicts that the price of gasoline could very well reach  
$4 a gallon this summer. Another quoted source said prices from $3.50  
to $3.75 per gallon are almost guaranteed.

Such prices certainly would impact my decisions to drive any  
significant distance for birding.
