Senator Amy Klobuchar will join Audubon members and friends for an
informative morning this Saturday on Minnesota’s role in the global warming
discussion. The senator will update us on federal legislation and share
her impressions from a recent trip to Greenland. We’ll also learn how
prairie carbon sequestration and cap and trade in the electric industry can
help reduce greenhouse gases. Global climate change has had profound
effects on birds and other wildlife; here’s your opportunity to learn more
about cutting-edge federal and state global warming policy initiatives. The
event is free and open to the public.
