Folks:
Female Snowy Owl 3 miles south of US Hwy 2 on Polk CR 46 yesterday
(2/28) evening just after 5. Horned larks are moving in up here. Snow
Buntings are starting to break off into pairs or much small flocks. Common
redpolls are flocked up and working feeders and windblown sunflower fields.
Hungarian partridge, greater prairie-chickens, and sharp-tailed grouse
are easy to see if you spend a bit of time on gravel roads in the morning
before 11 a.m.

Happy trails!
