(My thanks to Jen Vieth for her on-the-spot posting in my name.)
The Cerulean Warbler at Minnehaha Creek Falls was still present when
Diana Doyle arrived about 20 minutes after the initial sighting. It
had moved a bit further up-creek, to the north, still along the east
side of the creek, but now on the right side of the trail, where we
were able to re-locate it by its singing. Its song is as robust and
persistent as any heard on territory in the Cannon River Wilderness.
(Perhaps it finds the habitat acceptable, and will stay.) It is still
fairly close to the location described earlier; simply walk further
up-stream from the 3 benches/big-boulder locale.
