Hey birders!

The Mankato Bird Club had a field trip this morning to the The Ponds of St. Peter (their old sewage lagoons).  Between there and Seven Mile Creek County Park we were able to find 60 species.

Highlights:

Sparrows: White-crowned, Harris', Clay-colored, Lincoln's, Field, Savannah, White-throated

Warblers: Tennessee, Nashville, Yellow-rumped, Orange-crowned, Black-and-white, Yellow, Palm, Ovenbird

Other: Broad-winged Hawk, Red-headed Woodpecker, Pine Siskin, Swainson's Thrush, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Lesser Yellowlegs
