This is the Minnesota Birding Report for Tuesday, May 20th 2008.

A BRANT was discovered by Lars Benson in Duluth on the 19th, and it is
still present today, feeding in the grass near the stage at Bayfront
Park on the waterfront near the Duluth Aquarium.

And a LONG-BILLED CURLEW was in Big Stone County on the 17th. The exact
location was not noted by the observers, but was described as a puddle
in a plowed corn field northeast of Ortonville, in an area bounded by
390th Street, 660th Avenue, US Highway 12, and 715th Avenue.

The next scheduled update of this tape is Thursday, May 22nd 2008.
