Never underestimate the power of the Internet! As of this morning, there
had been over 400 views of this photo.

The suggestions made have been:
    Eastern Wood Pewee
    Least Flycatcher
    Willow Flycatcher
    Female Cerulean Warbler
    Female Blackpoll
    Olive-sided Flycatcher
    Female Yellowrump
    Female Redstart
    Ruby-crowned Kinglet
    Great Crested Flycatcher
    Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
    Orange-crowned Warbler (my initial thought)

At this point, I believe the bird is a ruby-crowned kinglet. Although the
"posture" of the bird is not typical, the colors are correct as is the bill
and the plain tail. I think the most significant factor, though, is the
black legs and light feet. This is shown clearly in Sibley Guide to Birds.
The eastern wood pewee and willow flycatcher (by far the most popular
choices) have dark legs and feet plus the light lower mandible that is not
seen on the photo.

Additional comments are always welcome! Thank you to all who took the time
to look and express an opinion.

Gail
