Highlight:

-First Winter Thayer's Gull on Minnesota side of breakwall.

I spent some time at the tot lot parking lot (12th St.) at Park Point and also near the airport and saw very little birds on a fairly calm lake.

- 2 Horned Grebes
- 20 Green-winged Teal
- 12 Bonaparte's Gull
- 2 Sanderlings

* Also the four city lots in Park Point now have two medium signs advertising the lot sizes and whom to contact for purchase.  These lots are  125 feet by 200 feet.  So all in all birders will lose 800 feet of land to developement at Park Pt. in the near future.

What can be done?  Nothing.  Its a done deal.
