A noon walk at Wood Lake Nature Center in Richfield Apr. 28 revealed
hundreds of Yellow-rumped Warblers feeding and singing. Among them I
counted four Palm Warblers, five Orange-crowned Warblers, and a Yellow
Warbler. The Yellow was on the west side of the park at the wooded
platform that marks the north end of the Prairie Trail.

Among the Tree and Barn Swallows over the lake were two Chimney Swifts.
