Hello:
On Sunday while cleaning up after the First Communion party I saw three =
White Pelicans fly over my yard.
Today (Monday) while doing some quick birding along Park Point I noticed =
many huge rafts of Greater Scaup on the bay side. Also I found several =
scattered Gadwalls and a small flock of Widgeons near the bus turn =
around.
Other than that the birding is rather slow in Duluth and there is a lot =
of ICE yes ICE on the lake side of Park Point. Reminds me of seeing a =
Avocet once in late May on one of them ice chunks.
Chipping Sparrows finally made its arrival here in West Duluth.
Mike H.
