Observed a Short-eared Owl last night (12/3)
on 70th Av SW between 20th St and Salem Rd.
This is same location where Short-eared Owl(s)
overwintered last year and where they have
been traditionally found.
Bird was flushed from the road at 6:08PM.
This morning I saw 3 Redpolls high in the trees
behind Kelly's Orchard at 65th St NW and 34th Av.
There has been a Northern Shrike hanging around this
area for the past month or so. Another traditional spot.
