We sighted a Snowy Owl about 5 miles south of Lake City on Highway 63 on
Friday December 19th.

Last year we also saw a Snowy along County Road 4 just south of 10,outside
Lake City, as it sat on a pole, I was able to walk right up to it and take
some pictures, It looked own at me, blinked and turned its head around and
ignored me! I couldn't believe how close I got!
My husband who drives that road frequently saw that one or another several
times that year.

This looks to be another good year for Snowy sightings just south of Lake
city.
