Several times during the past 2 weeks we have had visits from what
appear to be red-shoulder hawks. On a couple occasions there were 2
birds visible at the same time. My home is located near a 5-acre
woodlot in the City of Shorewood. The bird(s) have been visiting to
scavenge meat and fat from butchered white-tailed deer rib cages that we
hung for the birds to work on. =20

How likely is it that what we're seeing are red-shouldered hawks? If
not them, what else could they be? I have some undeveloped photographs
that I took from my house and can e-mail them when they are developed.
