This morning I heard the Least Bittern calling at the 180th St. marsh
from the eastern end of the first large wet area. Then while going
south on Orlando close to Miesville Ravine on the Dakota, Goodhue Co.
border, there were Wood Thrushes calling from the woods as I descended
the hill. At Miesville in the Goodhue Co. section, I saw a Black-billed
Cuckoo perched on a branch that I was able to study closely.
