Hi- I will grant you that the ovenbird is a
"different" type of warbler but it does share some of
the same characteristics as other warblers-
--the beak is warbler-like and not thrush-like;
--the song is not thrush-like at all (not warber-like
either);
-- it also looks more like the warblers than it does
thrushes in body shape and in other characteristics;
I am sure that others can point out other things- I am
sure that a DNA test would show this as well.
