At midday today (Sunday) about 110 Tundra Swans (couldn't find any =
Trumpeters) on a marshy pond at the McLeod--Meeker--Renville County =
lines, about 4 miles west of Hutchinson (4 miles east of Boon Lake, =
which is still frozen over) on Old Hwy. 7 (now 190th St. and Zane =
Ave.,south off of new Hwy 7 west of Hutch in western McLeod County).
Accompanied by a few dozen Canada Geese, Mallards, and Ring-necked =
Ducks, and a few Buffleheads, Common Goldeneye and Scaup.
