The mudflats along the point in the Morgan Park area of Duluth are about =
the most extensive they've been in two years.  The shorebirds seem to =
have noticed.  Today (Wed., 09/03)  I observed:

Stilt Sandpiper:  29
Black-bellied Plover:  2
Baird's Sandpiper:  10
Semipalmated Plover:  5
Pectoral Sandpiper:  1
Sanderling:  1
Semipalmated Sandpiper:  20
Least Sandpiper:  6
Killdeer:  6

Also a N. Waterthrush, Green Heron, among others. =20
