Yesterday (Sat) while collecting wildflower seeds at Wild River State =
Park (Almelund, MN) I scared up an Eastern Meadowlark from a field. It =
flew to a nearby branch and allowed me to view it for a while. What a =
neat bird!

I looked up from my seed collecting just in time to see a Northern =
Harrier (female). She was flying rather closely to the ground the =
entire time I watched her (hunting?). I saw her distinctive white patch =
on the rump and the brown/black banding on the tail. What a gorgeous =
bird!

Susan,
Ramsey Co
