The day was a cloudy, dark, windy and cold day. We tried so hard to =
find some warblers to study and only ended up finding a Nashville, =
Redstart, Common Yellowthroat, Orange-crown, Northern Waterthrush, Palm =
and Yellow-rump Warbler.
We birded Wood Lake, Old Cedar Bridge and ended the trip at the Bass =
Ponds. There were 23 birders that came along and all had a good time =
despite the ugly conditions for birding.
We had a nice looks of Turkey Vultures, Bald Eagles and a Redtail Hawk =
as they were cruising along the Minnesota River.
Over all it was very uneventful day to go birdwatching. The weather =
didn't help us at all! Hopefully next year.
