Westskyline Hawkwatch, Duluth, MN.


Flight continues at the WSHC.=20


Today's flight (31 March) was counted under  mostly blue skies and Northeast=
=20
winds at the Thompson Hill lookout. The flight of 516 raptors was a great wa=
y=20
to end the month.  Among the totals included: Turkey Vulture-2, Bald=20
Eagles-286 (a  good number of non-adult but still more adults ; 30/70%), Sha=
rp-shinned=20
Hawk-5, Cooper's Hawk-3, Red-tailed Hawk- 196 (3 adult dark morph, 1 adult=20
dark Harlans), Rough-legged Hawk-12, and Golden Eagle-12.
=20

Non-raptors included 2 Common Merganser, 100+ redpolls and 3 Pine Grosbeaks.
