<div align="left"><font face="Verdana"><span style="font-size:10pt">I sighted a pair on Big Carnelian Lake today. One was <b>not</b> mute but swam 
around issuing coarse croaks, while the other went to a small island and 
appeared to be preparing or improving a nest - just above water level, 
pulling vegetation in around itself. On the other end of the 40 foot island a 
Canadian Goose was doing the same, while a lone loon swam around the 
island calling.</span></font></div>

<font face="Verdana"><span style="font-size:10pt">The island has a sign - Loon Nesting Area. I wonder if there is enough 
room.</span></font></div>

<font face="Verdana"><span style="font-size:10pt">A local lakeshore owner came by and said there were 28 Swans there 
yesterday and she &quot;thought&quot; that many had orange bills.</span></font></div>
