This weekend at our home in Itasca County I heard a crow calling that
sounded exactly like a Fish Crow. I know how improbable this sounds. I =
am,
however, familiar with the sound of Fish Crows. For the last 5 winters =
my
wife and I have spent 6 weeks in northern Florida and have heard plenty =
of
Fish Crows. I also verified it by listening to my Stokes CD's.

=20

I know that ravens make lots of weird sounds but I saw this bird flying =
over
our yard about 30 yards overhead and the tail was that of a crow, not a
raven.

=20

Has anyone heard of an American Crow making sounds like that of a Fish =
Crow?

=20

I don't have good recording equipment to document what I was hearing and =
a
picture would do no good because hardly any of us would ID a Fish crow =
by
sight.

=20

I could use some help on this one.

=20

Thanks, Earl Orf
