I observed a northern shrike perched atop a small tree ~50 yards south of
the house at 13075 Bacardi Ave, Rosemount, MN.
The observation was made @ 12:15pm, 5 December 2004. I watched the bird
from the road for about 3 minutes, till it flew off low to the southwest. I
checked the same area two times over the subsequent 30 minutes, not seeing
the bird again.
