While birding today at Cedar Creek SNA, looking for the Red-headed =
Woodpecker over wintering there. I scared up a Short-eared Owl. It flew =
in it's characteristic "moth like" flight and flew out of sight. I drove =
around looking for it but could not relocate it. It may still be =
somewhere in there, the SNA has quite a bit of territory.=20
The location is on Dumont which is a dead end road off of County Road =
26. It flew off to the west.
Oh yeah, the Red-headed Woodpecker is still there.
Good birding
