We had a huge number of Redpolls in Cass and Wadena Counties today.  If all
these folks get to St. Cloud and the Twin Cities seed sales will definitely
rise.  They were at every feeder we looked at in those areas and were also
out in the country feeding on weed seeds as the snow level was well below
the tops of the grasses.

Just north of Casino in southeastern Cass there was a good example of a
Hoary Redpoll with one flock.  Also reasonably common were roughlegs,
shrikes, and a few good sized flocks of Snow Buntings.  Also interesting
were two adult Bald Eagles wintering in areas no where near open water and
we might add no where near each other.
