Winds switched from northeast to south late morning, Kingfisher seen =
near Lake-Cook Co. line along the lake. Yellow-rumps reported inland =
about 1 mile earlier this week. First White-crowned and White-throated =
Sparrows for my yard this spring late afternoon, and alas, a Cowbird. =
Northern Shrike hanging about Thursday, but not seen since. Merlin =
occasionally seen also, they nested in Tofte less than 4 miles from here =
last summer.
