Tthe natural feeder i have is a piece of old drift wood about 6 ft long =
and about 1 foot wide 8 inches high.. it is all smooth and the top is =
flat with big grooves and niches... which are perfect for holding =
seed...also the ends arent completely flat so the birds are able to get =
under neath to the bugs or hide...it took me a month to find a piece =
that fit what i had in mind... i have it situated underneath two pine =
trees...I just use a wild seed mix with corn and also sunflowers... i =
just put up niger yesterday....And it doesnt look bad at all..... =
especailly when all the birds are at it eating.........Sharrie
The Harris' sparrows were at the feeder in my yard, near hwy 13 and =
franklin trail..

I have had so many birds in my yard this last couple weeks, i put in =
a new natural type bird feeder. on the ground, and it just attract so =
many birds.. right now i have a pair of harris sparrows... this is the =
first time i have ever seen them...managed to get a couple pictures as =
well...
